Canberra’s Member of Parliament got cross about sexual violence today. Gai Brodtmann MP, addressed the House of Representatives on prosecute; don’t perpetrate ahead of the campaign launch on Friday. She called for the investigation and prosecution of sexual violence perpetrated by Da’esh as war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.

Ms Brodtmann is a long standing supporter of the Women, Peace and Security agenda. She is the Shadow Assistant Minister for Cyber Security and Defence Personnel. Ms Brodtmann is also the co-convenor of the Parliamentary Friends of Defence.
